Vice President Wang Kan and his entourage came to survey in solar energy center

On the afternoon of December 10, vice president Wang Kan led the heads of infrastructure and logistics management department to research at Hubei Collaborative Innovation Center for High-efficiency Utilization of Solar Energy (hereinafter referred to as: Solar Energy Center) and held a coordination meeting. The meeting was held in room 313 in north three lab building, presided over by deputy director of the solar energy center Wu Tiezhou. Deputy director of the infrastructure department Wang Zhigang, deputy director of the logistics management office Song Jianlin, deputy director of the solar energy center, Huang Chuyun, Lv Hui, and other relevant personnels attended the meeting.

Wu Tiezhou welcomed the arrival of Wang Kan and his entourage and showed his gratitude to the care and support of school leaders to the solar energy center. He also reported the progress of the construction of solar energy center, which mainly includes the discipline construction, laboratory construction, school-enterprise cooperation, progress of scientific research team, the introduction of talent, the central regulatory system construction and other six aspects as well as the center of the 2016 work plan.

Xu Yuanzhong, director of the office of solar energy center, reported the progress in the construction of ultra clean laboratory and problems to be solved in the engineering construction of the north three lab building, mainly includes: the need to install special gas pipeline in ultra clean laboratory, two platforms are needed to be built at the top of the building to install the new disc condenser power generation system, the fifth floor roof gutter is leaking and north three lab building water pressure is not enough.

Wang Kan expressed his affirmation for the current construction progress and achievements of the Solar Energy Center. He pointed out that the solar energy center is an important research base of the school's green industry discipline, and it is needed to accelerate the construction pace. For the related problems to be solved in the construction project of solar energy center, he indicated that the infrastructure and logistics management department should cooperate with the construction of the solar energy center, coordinate and solve them as soon as possible to provide protection for the development of the school's green industry discipline.

After the meeting, Wang Kan and his entourage also visited the roof photovoltaic experimental power station and the site of ultra clean laboratory renovation project.
